Community Features

Our Community Wharf

is a great public place to relax, picnic, swim and fish. For safety reasons, be careful on loose gravel, be mindful of risks of falling, and avoid climbing on the boulders (which may shift, fall, etc.)

Our Dories

KHARA residents may sign-out the community rowboats and dories to use in good weather conditions, within the harbour. There is some simple training and a waiver [LINK TO WAIVER HERE] to be signed first.

Our Community Hall

is located at 964 Ketch Harbour Road and is an excellent venue for small private receptions and events. Click here to learn more.

Our Parkland

There is an awesome playground and park located at the end of First Pond Drive. It features a pond, a walking trail, a playground, picnic tables, and a pavement pad with a basketball net. In the summer, HRM Recreation brings their RecVan and supplies a PlayBox.
